Ben Affleck was unable to be seen as his wife Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala, following accusations that he had undergone cosmetic surgery and had gone on a “unhinged rant” during Netflix’s Roast of Tom Brady.
One of the co-chairs this year, Lopez, went to the event by herself, which sparked speculation about Affleck’s whereabouts.
When Affleck unexpectedly showed up at Tom Brady’s roast on Sunday, it ignited the first allegations of cosmetic surgery.
Some viewers said the actor was “hard launching a new face” on X, while others said he looked “fresh from a face lift.
While some people were captivated by Affleck’s appearance, others were unable to look away from his “unhinged rant.”
“Fans support you,” It doesn’t make you fans, you people out there talking sh*t behind your f***king keyboard. You are a b***h because of it, the 51-year-old actor remarked.
When it comes to forcing players to read cruel remarks while giving it their best on the field, he remarked, “I can’t think of a more f**ked up, dysfunctional, horrible working system designed to perpetually make people feel awful.”
Affleck didn’t take a breath until more than five minutes into his speech, at which point he stated, “I don’t think I’ll ever get this chance again.” Actually, after tonight, I doubt I’ll ever work again.
Social media users did not think favorably of his remarks.

Affleck did not show up with his wife for the annual Met Gala the next day. Many conjectured that it was because of his behavior and appearance from the night before.
However, it appears that the actor had a good cause for missing the function.
Affleck was in Los Angeles filming The Accountant 2, which has been in development since March, while Lopez was enjoying the largest night out for fashion.
Not only did the actor not want to attend, but TMZ claims that this is also the reason he showed up for Brady’s roast unshaven.
