After a beautiful birth, Hailey and Justin posted on social media to let the world know about their little son. The couple revealed in May of this year that they were expecting their first child together. They exchanged vows in September of 2018.
After making the news, Hailey shared moments and milestones with her followers to keep them informed about her pregnancy and to help them get ready to become parents.
The parents posted a poignant message along with the announcement of their son’s name on social media: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻.” The happy news of his son’s arrival and naming was eagerly shared by the joyful father with everyone.
Bieber revealed the name to reaffirm that their little son will continue a treasured family custom; the boy’s initials, “JB,” correspond to those of his father and grandpa.
The initials “JB” are often associated with Justin Bieber’s father, Jeremy Bieber, who also instilled this custom in his younger siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon Bieber.
The fact that Justin’s father, Jeremy, also goes by Jack for his middle name adds an interesting twist to the meaning of their son’s name.
The pair did offer fans a peek at their little one by sharing a cute photograph of his small foot with Hailey’s hand resting close and a warm blanket in the background, even if they haven’t yet revealed a picture of their baby’s face.
Seeing the couple start their parenting adventure made a lot of their famous friends very happy. Khloé Kardashian wrote, “Jack Blues!!!!!!” to express her joy. Many congratulations! I really really love this little foot.
