Gordon Ramsey is unquestionably one of the most well-known figures in the food industry.
For the first time in his remarkable career, the TV chef, who presently has seven Michelin stars out of a total of twelve, has spoken candidly about the death of his newborn baby Rocky.
He talked about the heartache he and his spouse had and how they managed to go through their grieving process.
“Losing Rocky was really tough, and then just being there and watching the trauma unfold, it’s just this life-changing moment,” Gordon, 56, stated in an interview with People.
“Just seeing how she handled it — and opened up with other friends and women in close proximity that could give advice — she was incredible straight after that,” the well-known chef remarked of his wife.
“There are many things that Tana has done, and without that strength, we wouldn’t be here today,” he continued.
After being married in 1996, Gordon and Tana had five kids together. Their eldest, Megan, was born in 1999, and their youngest, Oscar, was born in 2019. They also have a daughter, Matilda, and fraternal twins, Jack and Holly.
Back in 2016, the couple announced that Tana had a miscarriage at five months pregnant, but they didn’t reveal any further details.

However, Tana discussed her grief in an interview in 2020, just after Chrissy Teigen made her own miscarriage public. Teigen’s public response was the catalyst for Tana to disclose the miscarriage.
Tana showed her support to Teigen and praised her for her honesty.
It’s really emotional for me, and I thought she was fantastic. I didn’t really understand her predicament when I read about it, but a lot of it seemed a lot like mine, Tana said.
She said, “I think she was amazing for talking about it and posting the photos that she did, and it brings it all back.”

Tana expressed her distaste for individuals skirting the issue and acting as though it had never occurred. “I have to admit that when it happened to me, I really struggled when people would talk to me and not bring it up because it seemed like it never happened,” she added.
“It was really difficult, so all I wanted to do was talk about it with friends, family, and anybody else who asked.”
“It was a really difficult experience,” she continued, “because you go from having a baby kicking inside of you to suddenly having it gone.”
She had her spouse at her side, who was quite supportive. “Gordon was fantastic; he was always always willing to discuss anything and was skilled at getting it out of me without ever making me feel like, ‘Oh, you know, maybe we shouldn’t talk about it.'”

Gordon said in a recent interview with People that “had we not lost Rocky, we wouldn’t have had Oscar.” Although it was by no means a replacement, it gave us a connection that is impossible to find in everyday life.
“That’s Tana’s power,” he continued. “She was amazing right away after that, just by the way she handled it and opened up to other friends and women nearby who could offer guidance.” Their mother “gives their kids a lot of strength.”
We sincerely apologize for the suffering that Gordon and Tana endured.
