After spending almost six years in foster care, 12-year-old Andrew was adopted by a Tennessee family in 2018.
In an interview with Today, the giving couple, Kevin and Dominique Gill, disclosed that the four younger brothers of Andrew were adopted after his parents’ parental rights were revoked.
Following the adoption of his siblings, Andrew found himself waiting for his future home by himself. The young youngster was finally given the opportunity to experience happiness after being in foster care for a number of years thanks to Kevin and Dominique.
The couple thought Andrew would be ecstatic, but on his first week

However, Kevin and Dominique realized Andrew belonged to them after the boy’s second adoption fell through. Andrew received the surprise of his life one day.
He turned around as he and Youth Villages Counselor Molly Parker strolled around the park and recognized folks carrying balloons and signs.
Upon being asked by the Gills family if he would like to join them, Andrew immediately responded in the affirmative.

The youngster never lost gratitude for the Gills family, who welcomed him instead of discarding him. Despite knowing that Andrew was a good youngster who had gone through a lot of trauma, Dominique told Today that she saw that people would often become afraid after reading his file.
The woman also stated, “Love doesn’t have a color.” Dominique claimed that just as Joc was their son, so too was Andrew. He was now a complete member of the family.
