A lady was put in a position where she had to decide if it was appropriate to deny her daughter assistance when she requested for it years after she hadn’t reached out to her or if she still needed to support her daughter despite the fact that she had disowned her years before.
Everything started when the woman, who sought advise from other Redditors, got married to a rich guy.
It didn’t look like the proper fit, but she soon discovered that he had cheated on her after they got married and she became pregnant with his kid.
She decided to forgive him at that moment after she somehow persuaded herself that he had done it because she was pregnant and couldn’t be there for him sufficiently.
But when he had cheated on her a few years later, she decided to get a divorce since she could no longer stand it.
Neither her family nor his readily accepted this choice. For the sake of their daughter, her parents urged her to forgive him once again and remain together with him, but her in-laws thought a divorce would damage the family’s reputation because they were well-known, wealthy people.
The woman made the decision to divorce her spouse because she realized that continuing to live with him would only make her already sad situation worse.
