Gordon Ramsay, the celebrity chef, made headlines once more after Whoopi Goldberg was purportedly kicked out of his Las Vegas restaurant. The incident started last night when Goldberg and her friends showed up for supper at Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.
Ramsay was reportedly in a bad attitude right away, according to witnesses. He allegedly murmured something derogatory and scowled at Goldberg as she entered.
Ramsay approached Goldberg’s party after they were seated and insisted on seeing their identification. “Because I don’t want any underage diners in my restaurant,” Ramsay shot back in response to Goldberg’s questioning of the necessity of identification.

Naturally, the 65-year-old Goldberg took issue and asked to talk with the manager. Still, Ramsay remained unyielding.

He allegedly threw obscenities throughout and violently removed Goldberg from the property. Goldberg’s buddies tried to step in, but Ramsay would not budge.
Ramsay justified his behavior in a press release, stating that he has the right to turn away any customer. He called Goldberg an actor who had lost her talent and said she would ruin the ambiance of the restaurant.
On social media, the incident has caused a great deal of controversy, with many people calling for a boycott of Ramsay’s businesses. Insiders claim that although Goldberg has remained silent about the situation, she may be considering taking Ramsay to court.
It seems that Ramsay is enjoying the limelight in the interim. He has been posting pictures of himself with a number of superstars, including Shaquille O’Neal and Martha Stewart, with the comment, “No has-beens allowed!” It’s unclear if Ramsay is being real or if his comments are just a marketing stunt. Still, it’s clear that his ego is still as big as it was.
