From a little-known employee of a record label, Simon Cowell rose to become one of the most powerful figures in entertainment. The British TV personality and producer has built a massive empire for himself and served as the main judge on a number of talent competitions.
Simon’s distinct and sometimes brutally honest style has gained popularity, and the talent contests introduced him to a new type of audience.
We are talking about a significant sum of money, and perhaps it is one of the reasons he has made so much. Simon Cowell has actually received millions and millions of dollars over the years, and recent revelations have shown how much he profited on American Idol each season.

After leaving school, Simon Cowell established his own profession in the music industry. He was hired by his father to work as an assistant at the record company EMI, where his duties included discovering and nurturing new musicians.
The ascent to prominence of Simon Cowell
He started two music labels of his own after rising through the ranks at EMI, but none of them was very successful.
Anyone may have been broken by his decision to return home and live with his parents. However, Simon Cowell found it to be a “relief.”
He said, “Everything went—my house, my Porsche, everything I thought was important.” Every night at home, I ate delicious cuisine. I was actually very thrilled.
Cowell made a fresh start by starting S Records Label, where he signed boybands like Westlife and 5ive. Additionally, he signed Jerome, who recorded the 1995 hit song “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers. It became one of the best-selling singles.
Simon, however, would become well-known through talent shows.
Screenocean and YouTube
“I’m good at making things that people will like,” he said. Making money is all that matters to me and the folks I work for. That’s the only criterion I consider, really.
Success of a talent show
A new organization would emerge in the entertainment industry in 2001. Simon Cowell co-founded Pop Idol alongside Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller, and he served as a judge on the show. Simon instantly became a mega-celebrity as the show proved a huge hit with the audience.
His signature was his form-fitting T-shirt and his now-famous tagline, “I don’t mean to be rude but.” Fox took up the show a year later. Now it was on its way to the United States, and across the Atlantic Simon had suddenly become a star.
More than 26 million people watched the first season finale, which Kelly Clarkson won, and Simon saw right once that there was a lot of money to be earned.

In order to manage the victors and own the program, Simon Fuller made the decision to create unique recordings with an American Idol theme.
Simon Cowell’s wealth
Within a few years, Simon became a multimillionaire as well. In 2006, he signed a new contract after the talent programs, such as America’s Got Talent and X Factor, brought in enormous sums of money for him and other record labels.
For an additional five years, Cowell continued to serve as an American Idol judge, earning a substantial sum of money.
When American Idol first started, the three judges were Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell. Although it began as an intriguing initiative, it swiftly became one of the most watched television programs, transforming the lives of many viewers and providing them with top-notch performers.
Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are two of the most well-known winners over the years; there will undoubtedly be many more in the future.

Simon appeared in nine seasons of the show. Along with starting the production businesses Syco TV, Syco Film, and Syco Music, he also developed The X Factor for the US and UK.
$36 million in a single year
Cowell served as a judge on both the US and UK versions of The X Factor. He served as both an executive producer and a judge on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent at the same time.
One thing remained constant despite his involvement as a judge on several shows. There was always his unvarnished, almost impolite demeanor. However, when he heard something lovely, he no longer had any trouble being moved.
Simon has been able to laugh till he’s broke, in addition to being spotted giggling during humorous auditions.
Simon Cowell earned an incredible $36 million in 2008 alone, according to CNN. Celebritynetworth.com reports that the media tycoon made $45 million in 2017 and $41 million the year following. Simon Cowell earned almost $50 million in 2020.

Simon Cowell is worth a total of $600 million. Each year, he gives some of his money to various charities. He gave $1.5 million to Feeding America and Feeding Britain during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Botox injections for Simon Cowell
You can do almost whatever you want with all this money. In order to do this, Cowell has spent a lot of money on changing his appearance and purchased a massive Malibu estate outside of Los Angeles, California.
For instance, during the past five years, the media tycoon has undergone many injections including facial botox. He was really among the first male TV celebrities to acknowledge using Botox, according to Hello Magazine.
Cowell revealed to the Sun in 2018 that he underwent a non-surgical facelift using “sewing bioplastic-infused thread.”
“You have a lot of options right now. According to Hello, Cowell stated, “You don’t just have to stuff your face with filler and Botox.”

“It removes sun damage and unplugs all the crap, but it hurts like hell.” “Now, maintaining clean skin is everything to me. You appear better when your skin is clean. However, you must use extreme caution while handling some of this material.
“Probably went a bit too far.”
According to Cowell, he “added 10 years” to his already incredibly successful television career by using Botox. He acknowledges, though, that he most likely went a touch too far.
Since everyone on TV has Botox, he remarked, “I hope I look better now. I probably had a little too much of it a couple of years ago.”
“I now get facials, but they’re not really fancy. I have a gal that comes here and gives me a wonderful, soothing facial massage. Additionally, I once got a sheep placenta facial, which was rather unusual.
In recent years, Simon has also become a family guy, even though he continues to put in a lot of effort at his many enterprises.
He revealed that he and his partner Lauren Silverman were expecting their first child in 2013. They had their son, Eric, on Valentine’s Day in 2014.

“The most amazing thing that happened in my life was meeting Lauren and becoming a father,” Cowell, who was 54 at the time, remarked.
Simon Cowell’s visit to the hospital
While Simon has experienced a number of health issues, Cowell’s family is enjoying life to the fullest.
After collapsing and sliding down the stairs in October 2017, he was taken to the hospital. It was later discovered that the fall was caused by low blood pressure, and his spokesperson called it “a scary morning.”
He saw a doctor after the accident, who advised him to alter his diet and abstain from red meat, wheat, dairy, gluten, and sugar.
“What about booze, I wonder? In an interview with Extra, Cowell remarked, “That’s all I care about.” “Maybe not quite as much as you had before,” he added.
Over the past few years, Simon Cowell’s health has taken an amazing turn. And the outcome is really amazing!
Significant health improvement
Simon dropped fifty-six pounds in a year. Furthermore, the COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown that accompanied it have not provided him with a reason to add to his burden.
I believe I have lost sixty pounds since I began this diet a year ago. I’m doing some cooking. He told Extra, “I’m working out,” according to Hello Magazine. “It’s funny that you’re sticking to the diet more during this time.”
However, Simon suffered a terrible mishap last year when he fell from his electric bike in the courtyard of his Malibu, California, house. He had surgery to fix a fractured back after being brought to the hospital.
Cowell was “doing” fine following the six-hour surgery, which included placement of a metal rod. Things really could’ve turned out way worse than it did.
It forced him to miss the beginning of last season’s live show America’s Got Talent.
A bike accident at a house in Malibu
“Some wise counsel… Cowell thanked fans and friends for their “kind messages” on Twitter, adding, “If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time.”
Things weren’t as good as they may have been, despite the fact that his message appeared to be soothing to his followers.
Cowell told ExtraTV that when he viewed the X-ray, he was taken aback.
“I knew I’d broken my back the minute I landed. It was really, really kind of sudden and it hurt,” he said. “It could have been a lot worse. When I saw the X-ray, I really nearly could have smashed my spine to pieces, so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk.”
Doctors told him that he should lie down and rest, and he knew that he wasn’t supposed to move. However, Cowell did the opposite.
“I felt so ashamed.”
Two days after his operation, he was out and about, according to a People source.
My thoughts were, ‘I have to get back into the house because I can’t lie there,’ and I managed to be dragged into my bedroom, which is located right at the front of the house. I’m lying there, kind of fainting. “It was unbelievable,” he remarked.
According to reports, Simon Cowell and his son Eric were trying a new electric bike. Recovering from the injury at home was the most difficult aspect for him since he felt embarrassed to do so in front of his kid.
“I couldn’t walk, and I have these metal rods in my back and these screws, so I was really embarrassed about coming home looking about 100,” Cowell said. ”
“Lauren, I simply don’t know how to explain it to Eric,” I said. He came in when I was lying in bed and he said, “Daddy, you’re like Ironman,” which I thought was the cutest thing and meant a lot. It’s clear that she said something to him.
The accident has taken some time to recover from. But it has also demonstrated to us all Cowell’s tenacity, as he is making every effort to return to his normal self.

And he accomplished it in a really remarkable manner.
Amazing exercise regimen
Simon has been walking more than 40 miles a week to aid in his recuperation from his injuries, according to the Daily Mail. He walks for many hours every day and has business meetings every morning. Others are impressed, and the music mogul is certainly making every effort to return to normal.
According to the insider, “he feels fitter than ever before and is sticking to a normal routine instead of being on the phone until into the early hours of the morning.”
Son of Simon Cowell
Simon has made himself a multimillion-dollar fortune by constructing his enterprise. It turns out, though, that the musician is unwilling to give his child any of the money.
Learning the value of money is crucial, and if your parents are wealthy, you may probably anticipate things to be simpler.

Celebrities have, however, stated over the years that their kids will not receive a single penny of their wealth. One of these is Simon Cowell, who sincerely feels that his kids ought to build their own wealth.
“I’m going to leave someone my money.” Probably a charity — dogs and children. In an interview with The Mirror, Simon stated: “I don’t believe in passing on from one generation to another.”
“Your legacy should be that you gave enough people a chance to succeed, gave them your time, and shared your knowledge with them.”
Eric, Simon Cowell’s 8-year-old son, is his sole kid as of right now.
Lauren Silverman, the mother of Eric, was married to Andrew Silverman, a close friend of Simon Cowell’s, when they first met.

The couple’s first kid together was announced in the news in 2013. By the end of the year, Lauren and Andrew had divorced, but they were still married.
When Eric was born on Valentine’s Day 2014, Cowell was thrilled to be a father, but at first he found it difficult. Simon wasn’t proud of his affair since he never thought he would become a parent.
In terms of causing harm to others, it is not something I am proud of or desired to occur. He said, “It just happened.”
But today, he couldn’t be happier. In many ways, the father-son-duo is very alike. According to Simon, they appreciate the same things – Scooby Doo, Disney movies, and laughing at the dogs.
”He’s the most amazing thing that ever happened to me. I adore him,” America’s Got Talent judge said.
Cowell’s late father, Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, passed away in 1999, and he is honored by the name Eric. Simon recently commended his son for forcing him to stop receiving facial injections and fillers. It grew so bad that his father’s visage started to frighten Eric.
I may have gone a little too far at one point. Simon told The Sun, “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and I didn’t recognize it as me first.”
“Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero,” the X Factor judge said.
Simon Cowell has created himself a media empire. But also, he’s met the love of his life and had a wonderful son. He’s doing all he can to recover from his horrible injury, and hopefully, we’ll see him as a judge on television before too long.
